Community Produce Distributions
The Meadowlands YMCA hosts monthly produce distributions that are open to anyone. The Y receives the food the morning of the distribution, so we do not know what will be available or the quantity available to each car until the event is ready to start.

The distribution will start at 9:30am and run until 11:30am or food runs out (whichever comes first). Please note while the distribution begins at 9:30am the carline often forms earlier.
Distributions are a great opportunities for both individuals and groups to give back to the community by serving our neighbors!
What to expect at a Distribution:
There are no appointments available or registration required
NO IDs or documentation are necessary
The carline is first come, first served
Food is distributed by car, no matter the number of families in the car
The line forms on Murray Hill Parkway and does NOT turn onto Union Ave or Paterson Plank Rd
Be sure you join the END of the line, YMCA staff are at the end of the line in safety vests handing out tickets
Only cars with a ticket will be served, if a car does not have a ticket when they arrive to the loading area the car will be removed from the area to go to the end of the line and receive a ticket
Tickets must be visible on car dashboard so staff can see it at all times
Every car must remain ready and alert to keep traffic moving safely
Every car must abide by local traffic laws and not block any active driveways and streets while waiting in line
