Summer is the time of year when children make new memories, build lifelong skills and everlasting friendships. At the Meadowlands YMCA Summer Day Camps, your child will engage in a variety of activities to develop confidence, keep them active and healthy, promote social and interpersonal skills and challenge them to try new things – all in a safe environment led by positive adult role models.

SUMMER 2024 CAMPS
Jr Camp Meadowlands
ages 5 to 7 Held at Meadowlands Area YMCA
This retro-style day camp includes everything that parents loved about the camps of their day – camp songs, arts and crafts projects, sports, music, and STEM projects. Every week a different fun and exciting special event will be brought onsite for your camper. These may include a petting zoo, bubble show, or carnival.
Camp Meadowlands
ages 8 to 11 Held at Meadowlands Area YMCA

Summer Seedlings
agest 3 to 5 Held at Meadowlands Area YMCA
Inspire growth through plasy, as our youngest campers explore and socialize in a nurturing and positive environment. The campers will enjoy a mixture of activities such as education, music, sports, art, and free play. Campers must be potty trained.
Brainiac Academy
rising 1st to 3rd graders Held at Robert L Craig School
Studies show that children lose up to 6 months of math and reading skills over the summer. Our certified teachers will guide campers through math, literacy, science, art, music, and technology lessons that are both fun and educational.
Travel Camp
ages 7 to 11 Held at East Rutherford Civic Center
Each week our campers will take field trips to exciting places where they will learn and have fun. Previous trips have included the Top Golf, Splash Down Water Park, Liberty Science Center, and Powerhouse Studios.
Teen Camp
ages 12 to 14 Held at East Rutherford Civic Center
Each week our campers will take field trips to exciting places where they will learn and have fun. Previous trips have included the Top Golf, Splash Down Water Park, Liberty Science Center, and Powerhouse Studios.
Camp Rex
ages 5 to 8 Held at Field Station: Dinosaurs
Camp Rex at Field Station: Dinosaurs will give your child the chance to explore scenic dinosaur trails, discover science experiments and activities and laugh with dinosaur wranglers every day!

Before & After Care
Camp drop-off begins at 8:30am and pickup ends at 4:30pm. However we know that not every family can make these times so we offer both before and aftercare for our campers. This camp add on allows campers to be dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6:30pm.
BEFORE CARE $35/WK available at Meadowlands, Jrs., Teen, and Travel
AFTER CARE $50/WK available only at Meadowlands and Jr.

The Meadowlands YMCA accepts payments via check, bank draft, or credit card.
