SNAP Navigator Program
NJ SNAP is New Jersey’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. SNAP and provides food assistance to families with low incomes to help you buy groceries in most food retail stores and some farmers markets. Eligibility is set by several factors, such as income and resources. Not sure if you are eligible? Applying for SNAP can be confusing. Our SNAP Navigator can help you apply and help you keep your benefits so you can get the food assistance you need.
SNAP Navigators will walk you through:
- How SNAP works;
- eligibility requirements;
- what documents you need to apply;
- the application process, and;
- how to keep your SNAP benefits.
They also can answer questions and correct misconceptions about SNAP to help you decide if SNAP is right for you.
