Summer is the time of year when children make new memories, build lifelong skills and everlasting friendships. At the Meadowlands YMCA Summer Day Camps, your child will engage in a variety of activities to develop confidence, keep them active and healthy, promote social and interpersonal skills and challenge them to try new things – all in a safe environment led by positive adult role models.

2026 SUMMER CAMPS
Summer Seedings
ages 3 to 5 Held at Meadowlands Area YMCA
For our youngest campers, Summer Seedlings allows children to explore and socialize in a nurturing positive environment. Activities and special events are geared toward introducing them to the fun and excitement of camp. A daily mix of educational components, music, sports activities, art, STEAM, movement, and outdoor fun allows for skill-building in an inspiring and whimsical atmosphere.
Jr Camp Meadowlands
ages 5 to 7 Held at Meadowlands Area YMCA
This retro-style day camp includes everything that parents loved about the camps of their day – camp songs, arts and crafts projects, sports, music, and STEM projects. Every week a different fun and exciting special event will be brought onsite for your camper. These may include a petting zoo, bubble show, or carnival.
Brainiac Academy
1st to 3rd Graders Held at Meadowlands YMCA
Meadowlands YMCA Camp Brainiacs offers a structured, theme-based day filled with rotating classes, special events, lunch and snack, ensuring campers experience all activities throughout the week. Campers enjoy weekly swim time, daily games and sports, and hands-on, project-based STEM/STEAM learning that builds skills in science, technology, engineering, art, math, and literacy.
Travel Camp
ages 7 to 12 Held at Jefferson School
Each week our campers will take field trips to exciting places where they will learn and have fun. Previous trips have included the Top Golf, Splash Down Water Park, Liberty Science Center, and Powerhouse Studios.
Camp Meadowlands
ages 8 to 11 Held at Meadowlands Area YMCA

Before & After Care
We know that not every family can make our regular drop-off and pickup times so we offer both before and aftercare for our campers. This camp add on allows campers to be dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6:30pm.
BEFORE CARE is available at Camp Meadowlands, Jr Meadowlands, Summer Seedlings and Brainiac Academy
AFTERCARE is available at Camp Meadowlands, Jr Meadowlands, Summer Seedlings, Brainiac Academy and Travel Camp
